The sweet iron and copper combination mouthpiece of this bit provides a warmth for the horse which encourages salivation and emits a pleasant taste. Raised copper ribs encourage salivation making this bit ideal for dry mouthed horses and also helps to encourage lightness for horses that lean on the bit.
Designed with a longer bit shank to give the rider more leverage.
Sold with leather pelham bit converters, making it possible to ride with a pelham bit while only using one set of reins.
