The Myler Twisted Dee Snaffle comes in a size 5 that fits most horses. This bit does NOT have hooks. The 3 inch Dee Rings are made of stainless steel while the mouth piece is made of cyprium. Cyprium is a composite metal alloy with a high copper content that is strong and has a taste horses like, which encourages salivation.
This Level One bit is appropriate for training or retraining a horse to be more sensitive to cues. It can help a rider have more control with a gentler touch and foster better communication. This bit still features the tongue relief and proper pressure that Myler is known for.
