The MB 27LP is a Myler correctional mouthpiece, which is a ported mouthpiece that collapses on to the outer lip and bars, and rotates on to the tongue.
The port, although narrow, offers room for the horse’s tongue to pass under the bit.
When the reins are engaged and the mouthpiece rotates on to the tongue, it applies two concentrated points of pressure on the tongue for quick control.
Because this port is only 1 ¼" high, it will apply little to no palate pressure.
Cyprium is a nickel-free copper alloy suitable for horses with a sensitivity to nickel.
